Guignon and Nasser Earn NCAA Women's Tennis Doubles Berth

EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern senior Laura Guignon (St. Louis, Mo./St. Josephs) and junior Katherine Nasser (Arlington Heights, Ill./John Hersey) have been selected to participate in the NCAA Doubles Championships at the University of Florida on May 24-28.
Guignon and Nasser competed at No. 1 doubles all season for the NU women's tennis team and are presently ranked No. 14 in the nation. They tallied a 16-6 dual record during the spring and posted a 9-1 mark against Big Ten foes.
The NU women's tennis teams faces Illinois in the first round of the the NCAA Regionals this Sat., May 15. A complete schedule is listed below. Results from the regionals will be posted daily on www.nusports.com. A complete recap with individual scores will be posted shortly following each match.
