Cross Country Earns First Win of Season

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Two freshmen nabbed the top two individual spots as Northwestern won today's cross country meet in West Lafayette, Ind. Jennifer Anderson finished first with a time of 17:24.8, with Cherisse Lancaster close behind with a time of 17:26.3, 44.5 seconds ahead of the third-place finisher. It was Northwestern's first win of the season as a team. The Wildcats' next meet is Oct. 17 at the Auburn Invitational.
