Valparaiso, Ind. - Northwestern carried a 9-2 lead into the bottom of the seventh before giving up eight runs in two innings in a 10-9 loss to the Crusaders. Junior Ben Dodd (Belleville, Ill./West) gave up only two runs in five innings in a starting effort. Junior left fielder Kris Musselman (Indian Springs, Ohio/Fairfield) had three hits for the 'Cats, including two doubles.
