EVANSTON, Ill. - In the latest installment of the ?Cats in the Community? program, the Northwestern University Student Athlete Board (SAB) collected 1,336 cans of food for Family Focus during last week?s food drive.

The drive was supported by all of the Wildcat teams, which went into the Evanston community to collect canned foods from Nov. 30-Dec. 2. In addition, members of the SAB were at the Northwestern men?s basketball games last week against Florida State (December 1) and La Salle (December 4), collecting cans from fans in the lobby of Welsh-Ryan Arena.

Family Focus is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to promote the well-being of children by supporting and strengthening their families. The food drive will provide meals through the holiday season. Family Focus is located at 2010 Dewey Avenue in Evanston.
