Schedule is Set for Midlands Millennium Wrestling Tournament

EVANSTON, Ill. - The schedule has been set for the Midlands Millennium Wrestling Tournament, "Where the Elite Meet to Compete." For ticket information to this year's extravaganza, contact the Northwestern athletic ticket office at (847) 491-CATS. The schedule for this year's event, which will take place Dec. 29-30, is as follows:
? TUESDAY, DEC. 28 ?
Noon- 4 p.m. - Registration held in McGaw Hall lobby
Noon- 4 p.m. - Workout facilities and North Arena open
3 p.m.-4 p.m. - Weight class declaration (McGaw Hall lobby)
*All wrestlers or their coaches MUST declare weight class to participate.
4:30 p.m. - McGaw Hall closes
9 p.m. - Coaches Information meeting (Sheraton North Shore)
*Order of bouts for Wednesday, pairings, announcements, etc. ALL coaches are to attend this meeting.
? WEDNESDAY, DEC. 29 ?
7 a.m. - McGaw Hall opens
7:30-8:30 a.m. - Weigh in (Flat weight), North arena
9:30 a.m. - First session (8 mats)
*All contestants are to be ready to compete.
*Announcements will keep all informed of match sequence, along with the coaches information desk.
7:30 p.m. - Second session (8 mats)
*Championship and consolation matches continue.
Approx. 11 p.m. - McGaw Hall closes
? THURSDAY, DEC. 30 ?
10 a.m. - McGaw Hall opens
10:30 a.m. - Chapel with Ben Peterson (Nicolet Center - west of McGaw Hall)
11-11:30 a.m. - Weigh in (Flat weight), Anderson Hall wrestling room
12 Noon - Third session (semis, consolation, 7th-place matches)
5 p.m. - Team champions reunion (Stadium Club, Gate P - west side of stadium)
*Invitation only
7 p.m. - Opening ceremonies, Introductions, Grand March
7:30 p.m. - Finals (3 mats) - 1st, 3rd and 5th-place matches
10 p.m. - Conclusion of awards ceremony
