Brandon Precin completed one of the most outstanding careers in Northwestern wrestling history in 2011, going out as one of only five three-time NCAA All-Americans the program has ever produced at the time of his graduation.

Precin ranked third all-time in victories with a record of 138-31, giving him the seventh-best career winning percentage in school history when his time on the mat was complete. The 125-pounder finished third in the NCAA Championships as both a junior in 2009 and as a redshirt senior in 2011, seasons in which he also advanced to the Big Ten title match.

Precin’s first All-America honor came via a seventh-place result in 2008 where he fell to the eventual national champion in the second overtime period of the quarterfinals.

In addition to his success at the NCAA Championships, Precin was one of just two Wildcats ever to win two Midlands championships. In 2010, Precin was named the Art Kraft Champion of Champions at Midlands.
