'Cats Earn AVCA Team Academic Award

LEXINGTON, KY – For the third consecutive year, Northwestern Volleyball has received the AVCA Team Academic Award from the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
The Wildcats finished the 2018-19 school year with a 3.421 cumulative team GPA and was one of only five Big Ten teams to receive the award.
To be eligible for the award, teams must maintain at least a 3.30 cumulative team grade-point average for the season. The AVCA Team Academic Award is the single largest award offered by quantity of schools, players and coaches honored.
